SymplyPRO Ethernet LTO appliances built on the existing SymplyPRO LTO family, empowering organizations with secure, shared access to up to 4 x LTO tape drives over a 10Gb Ethernet iSCSI network. The LTO tape drives are presented over the ethernet network to a host OS as an iSCSI target so they can be utilized by data protection and archive applications as if they were a SAS or Fibre Channel LTO drive, thus ensuring broad interoperability.
SymplyPRO XTH Ethernet desktop is a unique 10Gb iSCSI connected drive LTO appliance, allowing up to four (4) LTO drives to be shared on an Ethernet network, eliminating the need for dedicated and costly servers. Featuring Symply CableLess technology, it is highly serviceable and upgradeable, with premium cooling and power supply, two 10Gb Ethernet SFP ports, SAS Expansion Port, and SAS Host Port. SymplyPRO XTH Ethernet is designed for years of trouble-free service and fully supports LTFS and leading backup and archive software applications.
